Contemporary artists in collaboration with St John’s College, Oxford are organising the art exhibition OUR HOME, dedicated to Ukraine. To the country that is well known for its rich sunflower fields, traditional beetroot borscht, Cossacks and incredible Dnipro river.
Is there anything else to tell you about Ukraine? Definitely!
Visit our exhibition to find out more. Explore different states and feelings during the exhibition while getting to know Ukrainian art.
Paintings, sculptures, installations, and digital art. Some artists have created those in bomb shelters under constant shelling; on the route to the rescue and in unknown locations of foreign countries; in safety, but in fear for loved ones in order to fight back in the way they can. Artworks, as well as their creators, came to England to reach its art scene, in the same way, that any refugee would: days on the road via ruined and mined roads, under constant threat of bombardment, hour-long queues at the border, through a foreign country, and eventually, by plane to the exhibition.
We believe that our courage and the courage of the people who support us are capable of incredible things and that with your support we can help Ukraine together.
Join us for the opening night of “Our home” exhibition on the 17th of September with a live performance event. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
